Last show this weekend

So it looks I'll be able to swashbuckle my way in to the station this Saturday, but it looks like the station is going to be inactive during the summer, at least on the weekends, when the entire building is closed.

I'm sure it will be easy to get a weekday slot, so I'll let you know what's up soon.

So be sure to tune in! We'll be doing the mega-show: "60+ Favorite Funk Songs"

Just purchased this week, & it's the funkiest
children's album I've ever heard!

No show this weekend, 4/28

Sucks to say, but not only I am too busy to do a show this weekend, but the station is still off-limits until next week. Hopefully that first weekend in May it'll go down:

Update

Last Saturday afternoon, a pipe burst in the Campus Center cafeteria, closing the building for the rest of that day. Now we are being told that the flood loosened asbestos in the basement, and WCCR is off-limits at least until April 30th. So there will be no funk until after, at the very soonest.

Big bummer.

No Show April 14th

Sorry y'all -- I have several commitments next Saturday, April 14th that will keep me out of the studio. Sucks. But I am giving a talk at Camden Comic-Con so that will be fun (not on Black Panther, but there will be a panel on it).

Also SF great Samuel Delany will be giving a talk at the English Department conference that same day, so lots to do at RUC!
