No Show April 14th
Sorry y'all -- I have several commitments next Saturday, April 14th that will keep me out of the studio. Sucks. But I am giving a talk at Camden Comic-Con so that will be fun (not on Black Panther, but there will be a panel on it).
Also SF great Samuel Delany will be giving a talk at the English Department conference that same day, so lots to do at RUC!

We'll be back tomorrow!
You won't be jonesing for Funk much longer. We'll be on the air as expected tomorrow.
Last week there was a severe malfunction of the sound function in my laptop, which forced me to shut down early.
But some changes were made, and I'm just now getting the playlists put together for a show tomorrow.
This Saturday we'll be starting a new feature on Music on the One: "Full Side Funk": an extended groove of one whole side of a classic Funk LP from back in the day. There are some amazingly textured albums out there & I'm dying to share them with you.
You can also follow Music on the One on Twitter (@djezreader) for real-time playlists, funk speculations, and occasional griefing. Lots of fun for everybody!

We ARE ON for tomorrow!!!
Dear Funkateers,
I know it's been a while, but have no fear. I have been assured by management that the Campus Center will indeed be open and the Funk will flow tomorrow, Saturday, from 1-4:30pm. Not to be missed, my Women's History Month sets and some tracks off a glorious new record I just picked up.

So sorry! No show today either!
Hey Funkateers,
I am so sorry -- I had not heard that the building where the radio station is located will be closed this weekend for the university's Spring Break. So I guess we'll be back next weekend, 3/17, usual time.
Bummer!
